Our Team Approach
Medical Physicians evaluate a patient depending on the severity of the condition and the overall health of the patient . They will make recommendations, order blood, urine and other diagnostic tests, and may administer and/or prescribe various medications to help restore your body's function and alleviate pain. Once the acute problem is addressed and your body has begun to return to normal stasis, recommendations regarding lifestyle, exercises and nutrition will be discussed to help you maintain optimal health and wellness.
To aid our doctors in providing the most complete and comprehensive medical care available, the office is equipped with a full radiological suite and our x-rays are read by Board Certified Radiologists.
The office is also complete with diagnostic equipment such as an EKG and Spirometry to help assess the function of your heart and lungs.
If deemed medically necessary, diagnostic nerve studies, along with additional
advanced imaging in the form of MRI/CT/BONE/DEXA-SCAN may be prescribed to help diagnose your condition, so that a more specific and comprehensive treatment plan can be developed just for you.
Our office is also equipped with exercise and rehabilitative equipment to help strengthen your body and restore the body's function to your normal activities of daily living and work, in the shortest amount of time possible.
Chiropractic is a natural method of healthcare that treats the causes of physical problems rather than just the symptoms. The chiropractor's training and expertise allows him to properly and effectively correct vertebral and extremity misalignments through manipulation. By correcting vertebral misalignment and removing nerve interference using a series of spinal adjustments in conjunction with the latest in physical medicine and functional rehabilitation/exercises, the chiropractor will restore alignment, improve mobility and relieve pain and stiffness. The chiropractor's ultimate goal is aiding in your recovery and returning you to your normal activities of daily living and work, in the shortest amount of time possible.
The Acupuncturist, using a technique of inserting tiny threadlike needles along meridian lines of the body, utilizes a complex system of diagnostic methods taking into consideration the person as a whole, not just the isolated symptoms. Acupuncture is practiced based on discerning the bodies "pattern of disharmony" and treating accordingly. Acupuncture treats and strengthens the physical condition and controls pain. The aim, as practiced in Oriental medicine, is not necessarily to eliminate or alleviate symptoms. The objective, rather, is to increase both the body's ability to function and improve the quality of life.
The Massage Therapist, trained in a variety of massage techniques, such as reflexology, myofascial release, shiatsu, deep tissue work, hot stone therapy and aromatherapy, provides a wide range of benefits. Stress relief alone can improve your vitality and state of mind. Massage therapy can play an important role in your life.
